สภาพลูกในตอนนั้นก็จัดอยู่ในกลุ่มคนมีฐานะนะคะ แต่ฐานะที่ว่า ก็คือ ฐานะยากจน เพราะที่บ้านขายอาหารตามสั่ง มีรายได้ในระดับชักหน้าไม่ถึงหลัง จนไม่มีเงินเก็บกันเลย ด้วยเหตุนี้เอง พอลูกเรียนจบจึงต้องตะลอนๆไปสมัครเป็นสาวโรงงาน ในตำแหน่งฝ่ายบุคคล ซึ่งยอมรับว่างานหนักมากจนไม่มีเวลามาวัดเลยค่ะ และถ้าจะขอลามาวัด ก็ต้องโดนเม้าท์จากเพื่อนร่วมงานและโดนหัวหน้าว่าอีก
